Climbing Perin's Peak

Besides Animas City Mountain, the only other longish hike we managed was Perin's Peak. It was more difficult--we were really feeling the lack of oxygen--but it was a fun climb. We did have to rush a bit on the way down; it had taken us a little while to find the trailhead, and they were predicting rain in the afternoon, so we wanted to be off the trail before it started. It all worked out fine, and we had a really nice day.
