Who is organizing the Heartland AIDSRide?
The AIDSRides, along with the Avon Breast Cancer 3-Days, are organized by Pallotta TeamWorks, a for-profit corporation. Their web site contains information about their background, philosophy and financials. They produce events that both raise funds and provide challenging and transforming experiences for the participants. Through 2001 they have raised $222 million for breast cancer and AIDS charities.
